Sam Holmes had trouble with one of these, but maybe that was just the bluetooth on the bluetooth version? Not sure, would need to check videos / ask him.

The application areas page says it can be used for wind power, agriculture, cranes, and security, but the warranty section says leisure use only.

The manual says it is open source hardware. I emailed to ask them, and they said:
''There must have been a misunderstanding, what is "open" to third parties is the communication protocol and access to the readings.''
