SWR / Return Loss Conversion Table

Return Loss: $RL = 10 log_{10} \frac{P_{incident}}{P_{returned}}$ Always non-negative.

$S_{11}$: called reflection coefficient. Good: large negative number.

$RL = -S_{11}$

Can be calculated as ratio of impedances, e.g. source 50R, load 75R - 50:75 - SWR 1.5.
